Dimensional Dasher

LEGO Dimensions โ€ข Completed a race in any of the hub worlds โ€ข 15G โ€ข 22.94% of gamers unlocked this

The good news starts that I am ‘less sick’ today. I went to bed at 5pm yesterday afternoon and have only just gotten up – so I made the right decision in grabbing an achievement early in the day.

This morning I have gotten up with an extreme headache on account of not drinking or eating anything yesterday, so some medication and a few big drinks of water seem to have me, by-and-large, ‘functional.’ This is all part of the challenge of achievement a day!

Truth be told, I haven’t even really been playing much this morning. My son is logged into my account running around the LEGO Dimensions worlds with a few of his favourite characters, but he gave me the controller to play with while he had his breakfast and I decided to try a race. So when I earned the achievement for it, I gave myself a quiet pat-on-the-back and opened the blog to quickly record it, lest my health crashes this afternoon! Buying the Superman LEGO Dimensions character has been the best decision I’ve made when it comes to versatility!

I’ve spoken before about broken achievements in LEGO Dimensions, which is why I wasnt really expecting to earn one this morning. I find it hard to believe that this is my ‘first’ race in a hub world, but – that being said – it might be a case that I’ve never actually finished one, or they might have been in game levels rather than hub worlds. Who knows? I plan to see how I go with something easy and mindless later this afternoon, so I doubt it will be my last achievement today, but I’m ticking this one off my list.
