I have a bit of a hectic night coming up, ready for a hectic weekend – so I thought I’d try and squeeze in my achievement hunting during my lunchbreak today. With not much happening on my laptop in the way of ‘quick’ achievements – I had my first session on Phantom Dust, hoping that there might be a ‘complete the tutorial’ level, or something similar, available.
What was near enough was essentially a ‘play for 15 minutes’ achievement, which is really just about completing 4-5 very quick missions. I haven’t really got any idea what’s happening with the story – it seems to rely on the tried-and-true premise of ‘wake up and have amnesia’, but if I’m perfectly honest, I did skip a few cutscenes on account of needing to push through the game while on a time constraint.
Look, it’s not a ‘bad’ game, I just don’t get it. I’ll keep it on the laptop for the time being – the controls don’t seem too difficult to pickup, though a controller would obviously be the preference, but it’s playable and you’re not at a disadvantage with keyboard and mouse. From what I can tell, there’s a few easy achievements that I can grab, but I suspect they will fall into the second tranche of ‘intro’ missions which I think I’m just about ready to tackle.
This achievement is worth 20G and 18.92% of gamers have unlocked it.
